Our school is a special, close knit community with dedicated teachers and families that want the best for their children. As a nonprofit, independent school in Dayton, Ohio, we have the freedom to teach the way we want with the resources that are the best for our students. However, this means that we do not receive state funding. We rely on tuition income, annual contributions, volunteerism and other fundraising activities to support our programs.
The Annual Fund is a tax-deductible opportunity to support learning in the classroom every day. It is vital to our efforts to keep our program on the cutting edge of education.
Tuition itself does not cover all of the cost to educate each student; therefore income from the Annual Fund and other fundraising activities is necessary to bridge the gap between tuition income and actual operating expenses.
We appreciate all donations made to The Academy. For your support at the following levels, we will recognize your donation with a leaf on our Giving Tree which is displayed in our school lobby.

Corporate Matching Gifts increase your giving potential! Check with your employer or your spouse’s employer to see if they participate in a matching gift program. We invite everyone to direct questions and comments about The Academy Development Program to Tricia Fote at 937.748.1991.
We know that families make decisions at the end of each year as to which organization they want to direct their "last minute" charitable giving. When your family goes through this process, please consider The Academy Year End Giving campaign as an option.
The Academy is continually in need of individuals willing to share the gift of their time. Whether you have a few hours a year or a few hours a week, we have many opportunities for you to support us with a gift of your time.
